These day… Maher Zain’s songs always on my ears… such wonderful songs… it’s the kind of music that i’ve waited such a long time…. i fell in love from the first time i heard “Hold My Hand” from his album “Thank you Allah”… and yes Thank you Allah for giving him a such wonderful voice and talent…

“Hold My Hand” was my first crush… generally lagu ini menceritakan kesedihannya melihat kita bergaduh sesama sendiri.. melalui lagu ini kita diminta merapatkan ukhuwah sesama kita… tak kira apa bangsa agama sekalipun… kerana kita sama sama berkongsi dunia ni… jgn cari perbezaan tapi mula mencari titik titik persamaan sesama kita…. Allahuakbar!!!

Selepas tu mula la aku explore lagu lagu lain darinya… buat masa ini dalam kepala aku tak habis habis dengan lagu Allahi Allah Kiya Karo… lagu bahasa urdu… aku dapat tahu di India dan pakistan lagu ni memang da lama popular… cuma Maher Zain beri nafas baru la… bukan itu saja tau… lagu seperti Always Be There… InshaAllah…. For The rest of my life…. Baraka Allahu Lakuma…. Awaken… it will sure catch your attention…. sangat best ok… ada yang beatnya sangat catchy… i really love it…. aku bagi 10/10!!!

Who/Siapa Maher Zain???

Maher Zain kiranya inspired dari ayahnya yang juga seorang penyanyi yang selalu buat persembahan di Tripoli – Lebanon.

Familynya berpindah ke Sweden ketika dia berusia 8 tahun… membesar dan mendapat pendidikan di sana sehingga la dia dapat Bachelors degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Bukan cincai… this shows that he comes with brain… hehehe….not just wonderful voice and talent… waktu tu walaupun dia belajar setiap malam ,dia bersama kawan kawannya selalu menyanyi… membuat lagu…. dan bereksperimen dengan muzik mereka… di sini dia sedar yang muzik amat penting dalam hidupnya….

Setelah bergiat aktif sebagai produser lagu di Sweden untuk beberapa lama… He was introduced to RedOne… Mula mula buat lagu untuk artis Sweden…tapi kemudian dia ke New York… dan pernah bekerja dengan artis artis popular Hollywood seperti Kat Deluna untuk albumnya termasuk lagu popular seperti Whine Up dan Run The Show…

Syarikat RedOne ni bukan syarikat kecil… artis artis seperti Akon, Lady Gaga… Enrique Iglesias, Brandy, New Kids On The Block… dan arwah Mikaeel aka Micheal Jackson pernah mendapatkan khidmat syarikat ini…

Kariernya mungkin dianggap ‘dream job’ untuk sesiapa saja kerana terlibat dalam dunia glamor Hollywood… tetapi dia rasa seperti ada sesuatu yang tak kena… dia sangat cintakan muzik… tapi dia sangat benci dengan persekitaran dunia muzik di sana …

Itu yang membuatkan dia berasa penat dan akhirnya balik ke Sweden di mana tempatnya membesar dulu… Tidak lama selepas itu dia terjumpa dengan satu kumpulan brothers yang aktif dalam komuniti Islam di Stockholm. Inilah menjadi titik permulaannya untuk sering hadir ke Masjid di sana.

Akhirnya dia mendapat peluang merakamkan album melalui syarikat Awakening Records… syarikat sama yang bertanggungjawab mempopularkan artis nasyid seperti Sami Yusuf.
